Academic CRO (Clinical Research Organization)
The Center for Clinical Trials (ZKS) at Hannover Medical School (MHH) includes an academic CRO, which includes the Clinical Trial Services (CTS) and Operational Structure Management (OSM) divisions. They provide their professional services to academic researchers in case of MHH trial sponsorship and also to industry partners and can draw on many years of professional experience. Founded in 2005, the Hannover Clinical Trial Center (HCTC) GmbH was initially transferred unchanged to the MHH as a staff unit in 2018 and merged and restructured into the newly assembled ZKS staff unit in 2021.
