In our outpatient clinic we treat children with suspected congenital disorders of the immune system. This includes diseases characterized by a weakness of the immune system (immunodeficiency), but also diseases with defective regulation of the immune system and unclear, recurring fever states (auto-inflammation). With our experienced team we run one of the largest immunodeficiency outpatient clinics in Germany. We have special diagnostics that are only available at few centers in Germany. We are a JMF center, Find-ID certified and listed by the Association for Pediatric Immunology (API) as a so-called CID center. As such, we perform the immediately required diagnostics in case of abnormal SCID screening (for further information please click here). Through collaboration with our pediatric oncology colleagues we have access to all necessary forms of treatment for immunodeficiencies.

Helpful information for parents
Would you like to learn more about immunodeficiencies?
Would you like to get to know other families with children also affected by an immune deficiency?
What does the future of a child look like?
Are there treatment alternatives?
We offer you to discuss these questions with a doctor, a nurse and a psychologist, as well as with other families over a whole weekend and to create new perspectives for everyday life.
With a nationwide working group of immunodeficiency outpatient clinics, we have organized a weekend on these topics. At present, we offer these so-called "patient training courses" for antibody deficiency diseases, i.e. the diseases which are treated with immunoglobulins.
