Sleeping disorders (children's sleeping lab)

for children and adolescents up to 18 years

If children are suspected of having sleep-associated disorders of respiratory regulation (e.g. breathing pauses or snoring sounds), they should be examined in the sleep laboratory. During this examination, various parameters of respiration, circulation and brain activity during sleep are recorded over several hours. After making an appointment, the child is admitted to ward 63 as an inpatient - the sleep laboratory is only carried out on Saturday and Sunday. At bedtime, the child's measurements are recorded in the sleep laboratory for one night. An accompanying person can be included. Cuddly toys are welcome. Based on the result of the examination, further diagnostic measures or therapeutic measures will be initiated.
