The HUB has been rated positively by the ethics committee.

The ethics vote of the HUB confirms the ethical and legal harmlessness according to the evaluation basis of research-related biobanks of the working group of medical ethics commissions (AKMEK).

• Patient Consent form harmonized with ethicists and lawyers from MHH and Leibniz Universität Hannover.
• Template for informed consent concerning the donation, storage, and utilization of biological materials as well as collecting, processing, and usage of (related) data in biobanks (recommended by AKMEK)
