Anpproach to HUB in CRC Hannover

By car

Coming from autobahn A2 or A7:

• Change to the express highway A 37 ("Messeschnellweg") and take the exit “Medizinische Hochschule Hannover” (Hannover Medical School, MHH). A traffic circle (Weidetorkreisel) takes you onto Karl-Wiechert-Allee.
• Turn right at the first crossing into Rudolf-Pichlmayr-Strasse.
•  At the end, turn left into Feodor-Lynen-Strasse.
• You will have the CRC Hannover on your right-hand side after approximately 300 meters.
• You can leave your car free of charge in the visitors' parking area to the right of the building.

 

 

Public transportation

1. By tram/underground

• At Hannover Central Station ("Hauptbahnhof"), underground level, take line U1/2/8 in the direction Laatzen/Rethen/Sarstedt/Messe and get off at the second stop (Aegidientorplatz).
• From the opposite platform on the same level, take line U4 in the direction Roderbruch and get off at the stop Medizinische Hochschule.
• Alternatively, you can walk from the main train station towards the city center. You will reach the underground station "Kröpcke" after about 400 meters. From there, take the underground line U4 in the direction Roderbruch and get off at the stop "Medizinische Hochschule".

      From the stop "Medizinische Hochschule":

• Walk to Karl-Wiechert-Allee and follow the road in the same direction as the tram by which you arrived.At the second junction, turn left into Feodor-Lynen-Strasse and follow the road.
• After a sharp bend to the right and crossing Nikolai-Fuchs-Strasse (a small road on your left), you will have the CRC Hannover on your left-hand side.

 

2. By suburban train ("S-Bahn")

• Take the suburban train line S6 or S7 in the direction Celle or line S3 in the direction Hildesheim and get off at the stop Karl-Wiechert-Allee.
• Go up to the street level and take a tram of line U4 in the direction Roderbruch, getting off at the stop Medizinische Hochschule.

       From the stop Medizinische Hochschule:

• Walk to Karl-Wiechert-Allee and follow the road in the same direction as the tram by which you arrived.
• At the second junction, turn left into Feodor-Lynen-Strasse and follow the road.
• After a sharp bend to the right and crossing Nikolai-Fuchs-Strasse (a small road on your left), you will have the CRC Hannover on your left-hand side.

Alternatively:

• Go up to the street level and walk down Karl-Wiechert-Allee to the bus stop Misburger Strasse (ca. 650 meters).
• Take a bus of line 137 in the direction Spannhagengarten or line 123 in the direction Noltemeyerbrücke and get off at the stop Nobelring.
• Cross Karl-Wiechert-Allee and turn right into Feodor-Lynen-Strasse.
• After a sharp bend to the right and crossing Nikolai-Fuchs-Strasse (a small road on your left), you will have the CRC Hannover on your left-hand side.

By air

• A train station (suburban train, "S-Bahn") is located directly underneath the airport terminal C.
• Take a train of line S5 in the direction Hauptbahnhof Hannover (Hannover Central Station).
• From there, follow the instructions given above under "By public transport from Hannover Central Station".
