Welcome to the Visceral Surgery Nutrition Therapy Department.

We completed our training as dieticians here at the MHH.

Our team is responsible for the newly established area of perioperative oral nutrition therapy and looks after Wards 11, 81, 85 and the Visceral Surgery outpatient clinic.

Our aim is to optimally prepare patients before the operation and to provide them with comprehensive counselling in the clinic and at home after the procedure. In order to ensure the best possible care, we regularly take part in further training and thus always keep up to date with the latest developments in nutritional therapy.

A particular focus is on interdisciplinary collaboration with all specialist areas in order to provide patients with holistic care and promote their recovery.
