Scientific projects - Research profile

Our scientific focus is on the investigation of inflammatory skin diseases, allergic diseases and tumor diseases of the skin. This is reflected both in the work of basic research projects, which are partly funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG) in the normal procedure and, among others, in the excellence cluster RESIST, and in a number of clinical projects with different funding. In particular, eczema diseases such as atopic dermatitis or allergic contact dermatitis, but also urticaria, psoriasis, bullous autoimmune dermatoses and, for comparison, respiratory allergic diseases are addressed in these studies.
