Re-registration
In order to continue your studies in the next semester, you must re-register at set times. Re-registration must take place at set times every year:
- Summer term: 15.01. - 07.02.
- Winter term: 15.06. - 07.07.
You re-register by remitting the full semester fee to the account of Hannover Medical School. You can find more information on this under Study Fees.
Students of dentistry must also complete the registering process (German only).

Applications concerning the amount of your semester fee and thus your re-registration must be submitted within the re-registration period. You can find more details on the subpages Leave of Absence (German only) and Study Fees.
If you do not want to or cannot continue your studies in the next semester at MHH, you must apply for withdrawel from university. You can find more information on this on the subpage.
If you would like to take a leave of absence in the next semester, you must apply for it. You can find more information on this on the subpage Leave of absence (German only).
Payment of the fees and charges due is a prerequisite for re-registration. Those who do not pay the fees and charges on time will therefore be exmatriculated by law.
As soon as we credit the money and can thus re-register you in the student database, you can download a new enrolment/study certificate. Please note: It can take up to 5 working days to credit the amounts.
