MHH Transfer

GO-Bio additional module for technology transfer

Project duration: 09/2018 - 04/2020
Funded by the BMBF

The MHH Transfer project serves to establish and expand technology transfer at Hannover Medical School (MHH). The MHH is one of the most research-intensive university medical institutions in Germany. The close integration of research, teaching and patient care ensures that scientific findings can be used quickly and effectively for prevention, diagnosis and therapy. This results in a high transfer potential, which can be utilized even better. MHH Transfer strengthens technology transfer at the MHH and increases its focus. Awareness of the translational value chain is increased. A startup culture is established within the MHH. Furthermore, life scientists interested in founding a company will receive comprehensive support. The project will centrally anchor and sustainably strengthen technology transfer at MHH. As a result, the number of patents, licenses and spin-offs can be increased in the long term.
