Since January 1, 2018, MHH has had a coordination office for handling sexualized discrimination and violence. If you are experiencing sexualized violence and discrimination in the workplace, please feel free to contact us.

Self-Defense & De-escalation Training
Participants will be taught self-defense techniques to protect themselves.
No prior knowledge or other prerequisites are required. There will be no warm-up training or similar activities.
These courses do not build on each other, so participation is possible at any time.
Various everyday situations (verbal and physical assaults) will be demonstrated in an illustrative way.
Employees are expected to be better equipped to handle such potentially uncomfortable situations through participation in the seminar. Since every stressful situation develops its own dynamics, different methods will be presented during the seminar.

Anyone can participate in this seminar – regardless of age, gender, or physical fitness.

The Network ProBeweis offers help and support in cases of domestic and / or sexual violence and documents the evidence confidentially and free of charge, regardless of whether you report the incident to the police. This gives you the opportunity to take action against the perpetrator at a later date.

“Don't become a perpetrator” Dunkelfeld prevention project
The project offers anonymous, free and confidential diagnostics and treatment for people who feel sexually attracted to children and/or young people and/or who consume images of sexual abuse of children and/or young people (so-called 'child pornography') and are seeking therapeutic help.
The anonymous platform Say it - experiences of discrimination at the MHH is an online mailbox for students, trainees and employees of the MHH, which was developed by two Asta advisors.
Organizers, advice centers, the State Working Group for Socioculture and the Department for Women and Equality of the State Capital of Hanover have established this model project to combat border crossings (sexualized violence and harassment) in public spaces.
