The "Regenerative Sciences" program's first PhD defenses took place this year on January, 12th.

Ian Shum from the Research Group Martin defended his thesis with the topic "Investigation of hiPSC-derived trophoblast-like cells and their immunomodulatory properties".

On February 28th, took place the defense of Aynaz Kianmehr also from the Research Group Martin with the topic "Low replicative capacity of hiPSC-derived endothelial cells: investigation of underlying mechanisms and rescue of proliferative capacity".
