As part of the “Regenerative Sciences” program, the first PhD defenses of the year took place on January 17th.

Nils Kriedemann from RG Zweigerdt successfully defended his dissertation titled “High density culture of hPSC-cardiomyocytes in stirred tank bioreactors.”

Fawaz Saleh from RG Zweigerdt & RG Lachmann presented his defense on the topic “Establishing a scalable bioreactor platform to generate human iPSC-derived hematopoietic cell types for regenerative applications.”
