Cycling is good for your own health - and now also for the heart health of children, because the PSD HerzFahrt is starting in the Hanover region for the first time. The fundraising bike ride from July 23 to 30 is aimed at everyone who lives in the region and rides a bike - whether as a recreational or sports cyclist. For every kilometer cycled, a donation from PSD Bank Hannover will go to the Society of Friends of Hannover Medical School (Gesellschaft der Freunde der Medizinischen Hochschule Hannover e.V.). The money will benefit the Clinic for Pediatric Cardiology at Hannover Medical School (MHH).

The fundraising campaign aims to raise money for a good cause.For every kilometer cycled, PSD Bank Hannover eG donates at least 10 cents to the Clinic for Pediatric Cardiology and Pediatric Intensive Care Medicine at the MHH. The proceeds will be used for a diagnostic device for three-dimensional imaging "The advantage of three-dimensional imaging is that the operation can be planned even more precisely and is also very helpful for preliminary discussions of the operation with the parents," emphasizes Clinic Director Professor Dr. Philipp Beerbaum."We are delighted that PSD Bank has chosen us for their charity campaign."
Torsten Krieger, Spokesman of the Board of PSD Bank Hannover eG, added: "The health of children and young people is very close to our hearts and is an important part of our donation concept." And why the MHH Children's Heart Hospital as a donation partner? "Special commitment is required for children with heart disease and this is an occasion for our PSD HerzFahrt!"
Participating and supporting is easy. Participants only need a bicycle and the free smartphone app that counts all kilometers ridden. Family and friends can be invited via the PSD HerzFahrt app.
