A piggy bank with a red ribbon brought great joy to Martin Fulst. Because it brings the head of the MHH Campuskinder daycare centre and his team one step closer to their big wish: a new building for the daycare centre. 1,600 euros were in the belly of the porcelain pig. The employees of the Centre for Oral and Maxillofacial Medicine collected this impressive sum for the new building at their Christmas party. On behalf of all donors, the directors of the four clinics presented the pig to Martin Fulst and his deputy Britta Barysch on 13 January. The campus children Maja and Lasse were also present. "We hope that the construction work on the large car park in front of the old daycare centre can start as soon as possible," explains Fulst. The new building is expected to cost around 10 million euros. It will probably be built by an investor and MHH will then rent the building. However, the MHH is dependent on donations to furnish the interior and the outdoor area. The dental clinic's full piggy bank comes in handy. The old daycare centre in buildings Z2 and K27, with a total of around 190 childcare places, is dilapidated and needs to be demolished. The donations for the interior and exterior fittings of the new building are managed by the MHHplus Foundation.
