Dr Sara Haag (on the right in the picture), Hannover Unified Biobank (HUB), has been awarded a prize for her poster ‘ProvideQ: Database for pre-analytical variability and biosample quality’ at the 12th National Biobanking Symposium in Berlin. The award-winning poster is based on a collaborative project between the Hannover Unified Biobank (HUB), the Translation Alliance in Lower Saxony (TRAIN) and the University of Applied Sciences and Arts in Hannover (HSH), which was initiated and technically supported by Dr Sara Haag as part of a teaching assignment. MHH student Jana Wiesner (left in picture) accepted the award on behalf of the group. The aim of the project was to develop a knowledge database for preanalytical variability and biosample quality.
