Urban sketching is an art form that allows you to capture everyday scenes on the spot with pen and colour. The Verein Fotografie & Kommunikation e.V. invites you to the new ‘Urban Sketching’ exhibition by the Calenberger Sketcher in the art corridor of the Hannover Medical School (MHH). The drawings tell stories of lively street scenes, cosy cafés and architectural highlights – moments that are often overlooked in the hustle and bustle of city life. ‘Our drawings are snapshots of urban life, captured with an open eye for detail and atmosphere,’ the artists explain in an announcement. The works invite visitors to discover the Hannover region from new perspectives.

The vernissage will take place on Friday, 4 April 2025, at 7 p.m., in MHH's art corridor, and offers the opportunity to talk to the artists.

The exhibition can be visited daily from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. until 31 May 2025 in the art corridor of  MHH, Carl-Neuberg-Straße 1, 30625 Hannover. The exhibition is freely accessible, no entrance fee is charged.
