Professor Bernd Haubitz, patient representative at MHH and former senator, has been named an honorary member of the German Society of Neuroradiology during the 59th annual conference at the beginning of October 2024. The society is honouring his commitment to research with his successful constitutional complaint against the organisational structure of MHH in 2014, as well as his commitment to maintaining neuroradiology as a specialist subject in radiology as part of the 2018 amendment of the German Medical Association's model training regulations.
