AZAP form applications

Assistance from the FWT2 Staff Unit

To apply for funding from the BMBF or BMWi, an AZAP (application for a grant on an expenditure basis with a project lump sum) is required. Each AZAP requires a legally binding signature. The signature process and the associated review are the responsibility of the FWT2 Staff Unit, which supports you with the following services:

  1. Overview of the application process.
  2. Support in completing AZAP form applications. An AZAP is submitted to the BMBF or BMWK via the easy-Online Portal  for federal funding. We are happy to provide you with a pre-filled template with the general data for MHH. The portal works with xml files, which we will be happy to send you on request. You can also download the PDF template (only available internally) for checking purposes.
  3. Calculation of personnel costs (Tariff agreement for public servants of the federal states (TV-L), tariff agreement doctors at university clinics, scientific assistants) according to the specifications of the federal ministries. Please contact us at least 2 weeks before the deadline.
  4. Support with the allocation of costs to the individual items in the financing plan.
  5. Checking the formal details and approval for electronic submission of the AZAP form application by you via the easy-Online portal. This step is mandatory for the signature process.
  6. Obtaining the legally binding signature from the authorized signatories specified by the MHH Presidential Board - these are not the institute or project managers. For this purpose, please send us the final submitted print version (PDF file) of the AZAP form application as well as all additional documents uploaded by you by e-mail.
  7. By your request (via e-mail confirmation), we will send the signed original by post to the respective project management organisation in due time. You will receive a scan of the signed original for your documents.
