We would like to invite you to join a mailing list for all students and employees with caregiving responsibilities at MHH. The list will be used to send invitations to events at MHH, information about caring for relatives at the university, new laws, initiatives, etc. If you are interested in receiving regular information on the topic “Studying/working with caring responsibilities”, please send an e-mail with the subject “Aufnahme in Mailingliste ‘Beschäftigte/Studis mit Pflegeverantwortung’ to familienservice/at/mh-hannover.de. The list is also intended as a means of communication and exchange. You are also welcome to forward your e-mails to the subscribers of the list. The mailing list is an anonymous list, i.e. only the staff of the Family Service can see the list of subscribers.
The discussion group for caregiving relatives takes place every two months. You can find the dates and topics here. At these events, you will receive information, tips and support on how to (better) care for relatives. You are also welcome to bring other topics for discussion! (Input and discussion of current topics of the participants).
The training “Care of relatives” is offered in June and December. The training will take place on 05 December 2024 from 09:00 to 13:30 (Seminar room 6 (I2-S0-1081).

Support from Human Resources Management:
The service agreements of MHH can be found in the organizational manual. The collective agreements can be found on the forms page of Human Resources Management. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact the contact persons of Human Resources Management.
A relative is in need of care - what now? The Human Resources family page offers an overview with information on maternity protection, parental leave and for a care case. You are welcome to contact your personal advisor at Human Resources Management with these and any other questions that arise when it comes to reconciling work and care.
