International DFG/DZIF Joint Meeting on Viral Infections of the Liver and the Heart | January 17–18 2025, Berlin

Present your latest Research on Hepatitis E!

We are looking for young researchers who are willing to present their latest research on Hepatitis E at our symposium in Berlin. Time slots for the poster presentations have been reserved in the program of our conference. The poster session is an opportunity for young researchers to present their research to an international audience and discuss it with distinguished scientists and specialists from different institutions. We are looking forward to interesting submissions and a fruitful discussion.

Abstracts concerning the following topics can be submitted:

  • Outcome prediction for Hepatitis E
  • Personalized medicine for Hepatitis E
  • Diagnostics for Hepatitis E Virus Infection
  • Novel Therapeutics for Hepatitis E Virus Infections

Details for your Abstract Submission

Abstracts should only be submitted online. Please use the abstract submission template at the end of this section and upload in pdf format.

Abstracts should be submitted in English. Submissions should not exceed 300 words. It is possible to attach a file (3 MB max) with graphs/images (not in the abstract text body).

It is possible to re-submit abstracts which have already been presented at one previous national or international meeting. However, work that has already been published as a full original paper cannot be accepted.

Submit your abstract by email to kongress-ghe@mh-hannover.de and start the subject line of the email with the wording Abstract followed by the last name of the (presenting) author.

After abstract submission you will receive a confirmation message. In case you do not receive a confirmation within one day, please contact the Organization Secretariat again kongress-ghe@mh-hannover.de

All Abstracts will be reviewed by a dedicated expert panel. The best abstracts will be accepted for presentation.

The author who submits the abstract will be considered the Presenting Author and is responsible for delivering the poster presentation if the abstract is accepted:

  • He/She is responsible for the accuracy of the abstract in all its parts ensuring that the first author and all co-authors have agreed with the content of the abstract
  • He/She will receive the official communications from the Organizing Secretariat via email
  • Abstracts will be accepted only for poster exhibition. Poster orientation will be portrait (vertical), size 70 X 100 cm
  • The Organization Secretariat will take care of the printing of the posters that will be made available at the congress venue
  • Posters will be fixed by the Presenting Author in the Poster Exhibition Area of the Meeting Venue 
  • All accepted posters will be mentioned in the conference report
